Our schools have made great strides over the years thanks to the support of our community. Bond Measures "J" and "N" were passed and allowed our schools to make necessary repairs, install HVAC systems in all classrooms, replace aging modulars, build new facilities and improve our technology for students. We have also made it a priority to attract and retain quality educators to help improve our schools.
But our work is not done. We are still facing the lingering effects of Covid-19, and the challenges it has presented in learning loss, mental health concerns and the technology gap. Along with those issues, we are also facing a teacher shortage, campus safety concerns and a need to ensure equity in education.
